Post Site Rip! ARBVPS.COM is being naughty!

I thought it would be best to warn the community about a potential-would-be VPS-hoster that has ripped/is in the process of ripping our site.

    See for yourself:

    http://arbvps.com/test/ compared to http://zone.net/

Luckily there hosted on SoftLayer, and the appropriate DMCA notices have been sent so it shan't take too long for it to go down (hopefully).

None of the links work on the ripped site, not even the order buttons so I guess they're really lousy at site ripping.

This has happened to use a few times as well unfortunately. We've had both the layout/graphics stolen on numerous occasions but also just simply the text on our web site describing our plans and services which surprised me.

We've caught a few people in the act - people have downloaded our entire site to their PC, including our Livechat content and when they open it their PC it comes up in our Livechat system with a URL of "C:\Documents and Settings\someuser\sitetosteal\wiredtree" or the like. If we see them going through the files often or for a long period of time we pop up chat windows letting them know that we hope they aren't copying our site content - one person actually responded and apologized

Yeah, People have done that to us before as I saw C:\Users\Username\Documents\copy\dedi\index.php.

I annoyed them by constantly sending chat requests.

    Same here.

We actually saw a post of some hosting from some who also is on WHT, on a another forum say he wanted to copy our site and wanted to pay X dollars to do it! The Google alerts we have in place picked this up. Google is a wonderful thing ;-)

We were tipped off via an e-mail that came in mentioning the similarity in content.

Is this company even selling services? The main site doesn't work and none of the links work.

If they wanted a site that style so badly they should have just gone to loadingdeck and payed the $800+ for that style.
