Development Customer Management Systems...
I am looking for a small but functional system to manage my customers for web development. I would like to be able to save snippets of text, etc for projects.
Please let me know what you guys use.

I think that ordinary help dest system would be ok for you.
Or you are talking about billing system?ServerPoint.com - a true hosting company offering online presence solutions since 1998.

really what I am talking about is an organizer for projects/customers. I use my emails, but it gets quite unorganized at times.

vBulletin - we use this for customer discussions and it works great! They have a project management module you can add as well, but we haven't needed it
You can set up multiple calendars, use threads for file repositories, pretty much everything you need is in vB.Studio1337___̴ı̴̴̡̡̡ ̡͌l̡̡̡ ̡͌l̡*̡̡ ̴̡ı̴̴̡ ̡̡͡|̲̲̲͡͡͡ ̲▫̲͡ ̲̲̲͡͡π̲̲͡͡ ̲̲͡▫̲̲͡͡ ̲|̡̡̡ ̡ ̴̡ı̴̡̡ ̡͌l̡̡̡̡.__Web Design
