SSL problem

I am pretty new to this ssl stuff. I decided to get a ssl cert from godaddy due to cost. I did my csr thing and got my cert and the bundle file. I coped them to the correct locations on my freebsd 6.2 / apache 2.2 machine and enabled ssl within apache. If I go to the check out on my site via IE, it works fine...but if I try in fire fox or opera, I get a warning that the cert can't be verified for an unknown reason. I have looked in the ssl authorities section of the options and it does have an entry call The GoDaddy Group.

Can someone help me here?

More info. If I view my site with my Vista workstation there is no error and the lock appears as expected. I installed firefox on my XP pro workstation and again did not recieve any errors. If I try with my XP machine at the office, one of my engineer's workstations, or my fiance's machine, I get the error. I also get it when attempting to view with iceweasel on my debian linux workstation. The only difference I can think of is that my finace's computer, my engineers, my work machine, and my debian machine have had firefox installed for a while. We do update them but not sure if that is doing any good. On my finace's machine we uninstalled firefox and installed a newly downloaded one but that did not help.
