    Colo Speed please advise

    10mb down and 1.5up - Dedicated Speed to my server is that a good speed, its seems like a T1 to me, but I need expert advise on that. I am running 1 site on my Dual Xeon server 4gb ram and 4mb cache.

    this will be tough, you need more up than just 1.5 esp on your monster machine.

    The upload speed to the server will be dependant on your ISP. Most ISP's that I have used have always limited the upload speed.

    for hosting one site you guys dont think thats a enough speed.

    Setup snmp graphing and then you can tell how much bandwidth you are using. Other wise it is a crap shoot.

    in earlier threads the OP wanted to host his revenue generating site on his home cable connection. Those speeds sound right for a cable modem. I don't recommend doing it for many reasons, too many to even mention!
