    apache error_log

    hi,

    i have error show always in the apache error_log

    how can i fix that issue

    There is an .htaccess file somewhere on your server that contains an invalid 401 directive. The error is indicating that it probably has some entry along the lines of http://www.website.com/401.shtml when it should only be /401.shtml without the actual URL (for example).

    You will have to find the .htaccess file and remove the URL to stop that error from showing up in your log file.

    Execute this:
    tail -f /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log
    Then ctrl+c it once you see the error, should give you a better idea of where the error is occuring. If it only gives you a domain, 'grep domain /etc/userdomains' to get the username, and that will narrow it down.

    To try to find the .htaccess file by yourself, try this:

    find /home -type f -name .htaccess -ls | less
