SSL cert spammer: old Regfly owner?

Have a client's cert expiring in a few weeks, and today got two "courtesy renewal reminders" from a company we hadn't bought from in the first place. It was sent to all emails listed on the cert, and the address it was sent from was "[email protected]".

After a bit of looking, and if I have my facts straight (much hidden whois, etc), it appears that's none other than Kevin Medina, formerly(?) of Registerfly, and he's taken to spamming for SSL sales, it seems.

He's gotta keep his income coming in somehow

As if screwing customers with their domains enough to get ICANN to pull their accreditation wasn't enough.

Old people who think they have to read every email thats titled and sent to them. My grandparents were that way, so they said screw it and got rid of their dialup. I guess its for the better, eh. Especially before the Nigerian scammers find them
