    1. You're not listing your company name.
    2. For all I know you're looking for people to take advantage of them to support your UNLIMITED 24/7 $2 / year 50000GIG space hosting company.

    oap,

Having a full volunteer staff doesn't make for a stable company.
If there are benefits included then I suggest you post them and any more details you can and you may get a few people interested.

Ok I see your point of view.

As for all that unlimited rubbish thats knocking about, it could not be more far from it.

I offer free hosting (paid for from my own pocket). This is why I'm not listing my company.
Here's a chance for wouldbe webmaster/hosting staff to get the feel of how things work BEFORE they invest money and time into thier own venture.

Now this is going off topic, if you need anymore info PM me

/me ponders a forum moderator role
ok pondering over, ill pass i think.

Backon topic, Im sure there are alot of people out there that are willing to do the above for free, or for something small in return, something like a portion of web space, its kind of like give a little take a little.

Im sure once things pay off and the site is a huge success then if the person is using advertising for revenues then the people on volentary assignments will start getting pore and more benefits and maybe even a small pay packet for their efforts each month.

Tell me if im wrong "oap" but thats how id guess its gonna work.

Look for interns from colleges, they are basically the volunteers it sounds like your looking for.

Not to dig up an old thread - but out of curiosity oap, did your volunteers turn out? Also, how's your business plan coming along? Does the whold thing still fit in a nutshell?

We like to watch how business like this either survive or fail just for the experience, and like you said - that's what you'd like to offer, is experience to some people. Why not offer it to everyone and let us know how things are going with the volunteer-operated company>?
