They went down 2-3 times today... I hope they have an explanation on this.

I was thinking it was just my shared 100mbps pool, so I didn't even bother contacting them. I just took the server out of the cluster and let the other nodes take up the slack. Interesting to hear that it wasn't just us. This happen a lot?

To those who wants to know what happened:

From Burst Tech: "This was caused by a bad memory stick in one of our core routers leading to severe packet loss.. It has been tracked down and replaced"

Anyone knows how long it takes them to setup a server ?
it's been almost 3 days now and i am still waiting for my serveer to setup.

burst.net told me it would be ready by Thursday :\
hope this issue didn't stop them from setting it up ^^

The outage is now over. Why don't you post your question on burst.net forums?

    More information on network downtime.

Thats weird Hyperspin is only reporting them down for 20 minutes I know on my end it was at least 30 minutes that they were down, and they went down earlier today for about 10 minutes so thats a total of 40 minutes that I knew of, how is the downtime actually determined? Is it network time and if so how is network time so to speak calculated against real time

    Thanks
    Tom

We are completely replacing a router chassis at the moment, which we hope will resolve packet loss issues. Back up in a few minutes after boot & BGP loads...

    My servers seems fine now.
    Pacotes: Enviados = 46, Recebidos = 46, Perdidos = 0 (0% de perda)

Before it was 25~60% packet loss. ;P

OK, router chassis has been replaced, and looks good so far.
Will take a little bit to know if issues resolved, until traffic increases...
