    Google hacked?

    Hi,

According to Google, they had a DNS problem, and the site was redirecting to SoGoSearch page.

I think this was not the result of a hack, or any security issues, some people are still having trouble logging in to Gmail, not getting Google homepage.

What do you have to say about this?

    regards,
    Zafar Ahmed

SoGoSearch didn't hijack Google's DNS. They registered a domain name http://www.com.net/. Because the browser couldn't find google.com it tried as http://www.com.net/. It has nothing to do with them hijacking any DNS.

I can't see the Google Logo when I logged in Google this morning, but the page is visible and the search seemed ok, but now everything seemed to be fine. I don't think Google can ever be hacked, their network are too intensive and had full of redundancies and they sure have money for the best firewall and the best security personnel.

it's funny that people could think that Google of all things is getting hacker (why would any one attempt this? there's no point)
