I would like to share with you my experience with Serverboost.nl, after using a dedicated server for 6 months.
During last summer I had problems with the VPS that was hosting my busy forum site, so i was looking for a dedicated server solution. I had a dedi before with Leaseweb, but when the RAID 1 scsi disks went off, I had to move fast to a new provider, so I bought a VPS from my usual VPS provider. Unfortunately it didn't work out well, so I was in the search for a new dedi.
I have been looking in the offers section, and one of the offers that grabbed my attention was the one from Serverboost.
I searched the net for any reference to them ... nothing except from one WHT member that was making some posts that looked a bit "suspicious" (you couldn't tell for sure if he was a customer, a reseller or maybe the owner of Serverboost !).
I talked to a guy on their Live Chat (that turned out to be Greek, like me), then Jelle came along, we had a nice chat, he made me feel safe (you know that this is very important). Still i didn't know if he was the owner, who was the owner, nothing ... but I thought I would give him a try and I ordered a server, to try them.
Now, 6 months later i am getting ready to buy a second server for a client.
I had no problems with the server, no problems with the network, everything run smooth. Jelle who seems to run everything there is a nice guy.
In fact he was SUPER friendly and helpful. Never had to wait more than a few minutes when I needed him. Yes, I needed him a lot of times to do things for me. To help me do things (setup firewall, setup remote backups). He did everything, without complaints (let me note here that I also bought the SLA100 package).
So, the support is great. The prices (for brand new DELL servers), are good. I think they are doing better and better.
I took a risk choosing a new company, with the only references coming from "spam" posts ... I took the risk. Luckilly, I didn't regret it.
Give them a try !
