Here is the latest update from Chavvon -
He said they are now building servers outside of their provisioning system (presumably down because of the domain issue). He also said he is contacting everyone individually. The ETA is tomorrow.

Is this ETA(Tomorrow) for hostmania servers only or it is valid for eservers too.

I am a direct client of hostmania, so all I could say is this is for me.
I surely hope we (direct client) at least get priority over eservers.biz.

It is for eservers too
eservers told me the other day that the ETA is tuesday as in aug 13th
so looks like both eservers orders and hostmania orders will be coming up on tuesday
so at the same time

well, i got my server today. i was very happy, until i logged in and found out that redhat had been installed instead of freebsd (which i specifically requested). then i realized there was a lot of unnecessary stuff running (an nmap showed port 6666 being open). also, some control panel type thing was running, even though none of the binaries existed. i went through the security logs in /var/log and saw that regular system users had already been added (but were no longer in /etc/passwd) and a "last" showed that ftp users had previously logged in. so, the server was given to me without a fresh OS install which disappointed me quite a bit. after waiting for two weeks, i was expecting a bit more from hostmania.
i know i've been harassing chavvon quite a bit, and i'm sure he tried to help me out by giving me this instead of having to wait longer for the freebsd install, but you know, this setup could lead to all sorts of security issues (backdoors, etc. etc. etc.). i have spoken to him and he has assured me that he'll move me to another server, so i haven't lost complete faith yet.
now, to the good part. the speed of the connection (cogent) is pretty awesome! i'm seriously impressed. this and the pricetag will definitely make me wait around for all the bugs to be ironed out.
a wget from ftp.uu.net:

From what I know, Chavvon hasn't gotten around to cap the connections yet.

From Hostmania's ordering page:
TransOptics is currently not taking orders in an attempt to serve our existing customers and work out some merchant account issues. Sorry for any inconvenience and we look forward to having our site back online soon. Please contact me direct at chavvon@transoptics.com with any issues.
Sincerely,
