Need input on design for upcoming design company

    Hello everyone,

I've recently decided to build a website to showcase designs I have made in the past along with services such as custom web designs, script integration, and software installation. I decided to go a little out of the box with the template for my design company, so I thought I'd show it off before I went any further.

    Here's a screenshot:

Please post any feedback. Thank you!

Looks nice, only thing that I would think that needs to be changed is the "stunning" font, maybe a more solid font will make it look nicer.

I would change the black team to a crisp, light colour team as black is not usually used in pro design as it is not nice looking on webpages. We best stick to brigh colours and black on white text as your site will be an example of what you can do with HTML and graphics. Clear fonts and liht, crisp designs is it, to stay on the save side.

I'll second this, but other than that I think it turned out well.

Awesome design! Only other thing you might try is coloring the font for the 3 graphics under the about us section. Keeping it simple of course, but my draw my eyes to there more. Two thumbs up!

I actually like the black backround. I understand it is really not a standard in webdesign, but just as an example, look at the most downloaded themes for firefox users. Many of them are dark-colored themes, which more than likely means there is some kind of appeal to darker designs.

I kinda got the feeling it looked like a poster for a gig, don't know why. The design is laid out well and has applicable content. I'd make the font used for your vertical navigation links and the logo a priority with preference given to the latter if you want to stand out.

Brand, brand, brand!!! hehe .. good job with the design and good luck
