    Microsoft FastCGI help

I installed FastCGI and configured it via fcgiconfig.js using this command

    Code:
    cscript fcgiconfig.js -add -section:"PHP" -extension:php -path:"C:\PHP\php-cgi.exe"
It configured fcgiext.ini and added the .php extension to the sites and what not.

When accessing a php script, I get the following error though:
    Code:
    FastCGI Error

The FastCGI Handler was unable to process the request.
    Error Details:

    • The FastCGI process exited unexpectedly
    • Error Number: -2147467259 (0x80004005).
    • Error Description: Unspecified error
HTTP Error 500 - Server Error. Internet Information Services (IIS)
I did not do anything special with the PHP. It is the zip 5.2.5 from the site. I configured php.ini and move it to c:/windows. I granted IUSR permission on php-cgi.exe

Am I missing something? I followed the guide here

    Windows 2003 / IIS6 / PHP 5.2.5

Try using php.exe instead of php-cgi.exe.

Alternatively try to configure FastCGI from the scratch usign a different doc such as http://phplens.com/phpeverywhere/fastcgi-php

    OK, used the second guide.

here is what happens. I received a 403 error saying cgi isapi cannot execute in the directory so i set it to allow scripts and executibles to run (not sure if that was correct).

After that, I receive Page Cannot be displayed. Did I miss a permission somewhere?
