    How to hide status bar of IFRAME in firefox?

    I have an IFRAME on my page and I want to hide the status bar showing any activity within the IFRAME. On the main page, I still want the status bar to show.

    In IE it is ok, but not in firefox.

    How to fix?

    Thanks

    <IFRAME SRC="https://ameriwebhosting.com/index2.htm" TITLE="test" scrolling="auto" height=1800p width=600p>
    <!-- Alternate content for non-supporting browsers -->
    <H2>Your browser does not support IFrames.....</H2>
    <H3>Click HERE to open the correct page</H3>
    </IFRAME>

    This is what we use. Modify to taste. Try changing scrolling from auto to no.

    Hope this helps!

    I don't understand. Scrolling has nothing to do with the status bar on the bottom of the browser?

    Not sure if you can do that, may just be firefox' browser behavior and I don't think you're allowed to alter it. :/

    This is how FireFox is.

    If the main page is loaded, the progress bar will stop.

    The same is also true for Ajax applications.

    Peace,

    So sorry, I read status bar but understood scrolling. <sigh> Gotta start sleeping at night like normal people.
