    domain registrer

    where do u buy yours. need some tips. so far there's a few on my list that offers around 6-7 dollar .com's. 1and1, godaddy, name.com

    so. which would u pick and why.

    I buy from 1&1. I am very appreciative of the FREE private registrations that go along with the already dirt cheap price ($7). With GoDaddy (who I used to use) it was about that just for the private regs, plus the cost of the domain itself. Also, with 1&1 you can turn the privacy on and off at will... at GoDaddy if you turned it off, you'd have to pay again to turn it back on.

    Over time I have bought around 400 domains from 1&1. I have transfered into and out of, bought and canceled through them and never had an issue.
