We had been hosting a publically traded companies application websites with a rather large shared hosting provider for quite some time. We had begun to experience some regular performance problems with these sites (all related to the server hardware) and needed to move the sites.

I wanted to get them out of the shared hosting arena (was fine when we first hosted there with them) and on to a fully managed VPS. We had previously been customers of ServInt and were very happy with them. We decided to give them a ring to see about moving these sites over. Long story short, by the end of the day, we had moved everything and let it run as secondary site for a few weeks. The hardware and network were solid as a rock!

The sites have now been in production for the past month or so and everything is back to working like a champ.

If you're looking for a fully managed VPS, you'll never go wrong with ServInt.
