    Outlook Problem

    Hello,

I am using outlook after a long time in a new PC and I guess this version is different from the one I was using before,

In the list of emails, when I am moving from one email to another its taking long time to show the mail and same case if I delete any email, sometime it gets hanged for a bit,

Any solution or idea about the problem?

    Best Regards
    Hassan

I would run the outlook PST repair utility
    drive:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\LocaleID\scanpst.exe
(note, mapi might be msmapi, and localeID is a number)
Who is General Fault, and why is he reading my disk?

Select the PSt you are using in that outlook profile.

Usually Located here or in a similar profile folder.

    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook .pst file

Note: Local Settings may be a hiiden folder, you may have to enable hidden folder views to find it.
