Interliant Goes the Way of the WorldCom

    For those who haven't seen:

    http://www.interliant.com/eprise/mai.../08052002.html

Not a big surprise, in fact it was kind of expected...but still sucks. I know this was brought up in another thread, but here is some speculation for you :

Rackshack could pull a Cogent and buy Interliant, minus the debt, making them instantly a publicly traded company...that would be kind of cool, their next promotion could be: Buy a server, get 10 shares of stock .

in other Worldcom news I saw on Nightly Business Report they might have another 2 billion hidden away in mistakes that could be soon coming out into the light - and before they've even touched the books on 1999. Amazing

Well I always hide my billion dollar mistakes in my bottom drawer under Linux Format mag as no-one ever looks there.

How come I have the depressing feeling that none with a Linux mag in their bottom drawer will ever have billion dollars to hide?

How come Interliant felt the need to copy Dell Host's data center images (well, it might have gone the other way around, but I doubt it).....
