Toll Free Forwarding

I just signed up, and I am having trouble finding anything on the Auto Attendant they claim to offer. Does anyone have any information on this?

Never seen their service before, looks pretty interesting though. What is the Auto Attendant feature? I didn't see it on their site?

It enables a menu type system. They say they offer it but I don't see it. I may cancel. I had just seen it recommended here.

Brett,

I have been with Tollfreeforwarding.com now for about 2 years and Im not sure what you mean by auto attendant, I do know they offer you to have up to 3 numbers and if one dont pickup it will auto call the second and then the 3rd then to voicemail, and they also have a fax on the same number.

Thanks
Tom

I've used them in the past just for simple forwarding to another number, but have never used their auto attendant.

Have you tried contacting them about the feature? It may be something that they have to setup manually for you.

Wow Bear Claus,

This must be a new feature I know they are always upgrading I am actually a reseller for them but never read all the new updates they do maybe I should start hehe

markhard:

In regards to your question, tollfreefowarding is the best one I found for traveling abroad I am in Costa Rica but from the US so I have an 800 number that rings here to me in Costa Rica and when I renew my passport every 3 months I go to Nicaragua or Panama and buy a prepaid chip for my cell phone and reroute the number to those countries and only takes 10 seconds for the system to update it, I have tried others but most of them uses VoIP services and when the call starts to transfer alot it breaks connection, I like tollfreefowarding for the fact they still use fiberoptic lines for their calls and it sounds like you are right in the states when you talk to someone.

Thanks
Tom

thanks imtom, for the review.

btw they provide toll free number, does the caller to our toll free number still pay the call cost or not? just wondering as the number for Indonesia is using 001 prefix which is an IDD (International Direct Dial) number

Serverpoint,

I actually resale VoIP and have a local US number here in Costa Rica but when I travel outside it would cost me more to forward my own calls to my cell phone than what I get with tollfreeforwarding, along with the fact that I stated above is with VoIP forwarding you start to break connection and its hard to hear the others, but anyone that is not based in the US/Canada and are not receiving calls from people from the US/Canada its a waste of money and I would suggest like you did the VoIP (Skype) for their calling, but again this is just my opinion

Thanks
Tom
