    New Year's Resolutions?

    What's everyone's New Year's resolutions this year?
(Wow that's a lot of possessives for one sentence)

    Mine are:
    1) Stop bringing my laptop to bed with me
    2) Lose 40 pounds

I don't normally set resolutions so to speak, but like to have both personal and business targets to aim for.

    1. Gain weight and get fit - Might even cycle/run to the office in the summer!
    2. Actively save/make money - Aiming to buy a house in Q4 2008.

That's pretty much it for me, as long as in a years time my friends, family and myself are all healthy I'll be happy.

Mine is to start getting to bed by 10:30 each night and getting up for the gym by 7:30 Mon-Sat.

I have done late nights till 2-3-4:00am for years and with trying to get in bed by 10:30 in addition to my few 4:00am nights a week it really takes a toll on my body.

If I spend a couple weeks getting to bed on time AND getting up on time my motivation for the day is a total 180 and I feel much better.

Maybe due to the fact I am getting older (Just hit the ripe age of 30 )

1)Put on 20 lbs of muscle by July

2)Become president of the United States / Me and Pinky take over the world

    ...alright, maybe just one thing.

This is a very good step - best way to stay alive to enjoy as many new years as possible.
Stay with it if you can, it is worth it, I went 'cold turkey', but patches can help.

    Hahaha, good one

    1. Lose 10-20lbs + work out more (and regularly).
    2. Spend more time studying and less time online.

My main resolution is just to be an all around better person. This means no more picking on people, making fun of people, and helping people out more by doing and saying kind things.

And of course to be more financially stable.

Unleash unbridled love into the atmosphere.

As others feel the impact of my movements, they will do the same, embracing their fellow human beings… spreading love, joy, and peace over the world. The only guns to sound will be those to release the white doves.

Ok, no, I don’t believe that BS. We won’t have peace… I’d hope we could keep the racial issues at bay next year and the inner-city killings down… and the outer-city meth labs closed. 2008 will be a busy year… but the only thing I’d ask for is good health. With good health, I can take care of everything else.

That's a real good resolution, Bob. Last year, I had about a 6 month streak where I pretty much relied on Rockstar / NOS to get me thru the day. Once it got to the point where I had to consume over 500mg of caffeine at a time to feel anything I decided to kick the habbit. COLD TURKEY worked for me, as well as my brother. It was hell for about two weeks then I was back to normal.

I occasionally drink an energy drink (maybe once a week) if I've got a task that I want to get pumped for but other than that it's just casual Cola drinking (glass, after glass, after glass ).

My resolution is.. to train myself to require less sleep. They'll be plenty of time for that when I'm dead!

    LOL.

That's what happens. You stick to few for a few days or max a few weeks but, in the end you are the same old fellow as before.

But, it's good to keep trying and than to quit trying at all

But then that resolution comes later in the year.
