don't matter much - sooner or later they will be the same... SWSoft (the parent company of Plesk) accquired HELM - see http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=657570

For the time being, Helm would be the better choice, Plesk in linux is matured but in Windows I feel it still needs some fine tuning. Helm on the other hand is built for Windows and is user friendly and had been around for sometime.

Choose whichever is best for you now. Regardless of whether they merge in the future I suspect you need a solution which works for you now instead of hoping that they will merge in the future and waiting for them to provide what you need.
