Regarding Helm vs. Plesk, Helm is the winner. You can also consider DotNetPanel for windows. Plesk is good for Linux but it can never compete with Helm & DotNetPanel in windows environment.

You might need to go through the HELM Reseller documentation available online. Helm is very easy to manage once you get a feel and hold over it. Apart from it, HELM has integrated Billing/Invoicing module, Auto sign up, Payment Gateways, etc. as its part which helps immensely in managing the hosting accounts. With SWSoft taking over WHA, we should expect to see these features in Plesk as well but it would definitely not be in immediate future.

Helm will be better for you, you wont need any 3rd party software such as additional billing systems / signup systems etc as Helm can manage that for you.

What other features do you need? ie SQL? ASP.net ? etc

So can DotNetPanel and now Helm has been acquired by SWSoft who knows how long before Helm is killed.

Plus DotNetPanel provide you with the source for there portal so you can customize the user interface

I agree... DotNetPanel is really worth considering...

However, we can never predict when DotnetPanel will be killed too (as they might be acquired SWSoft anytime too )
