Do a DNS search on the name, it will bring up an email to contact them.

You are on a free web host, so you have to realize that this will happen.

that's fine to use it, i just don't advise it.

good luck in restoring your hosting. by the way, why not post a thread in the outages forum?

@pinoyskull You can't hold them responsible in any way, as you aren't paying them (basically). If you don't have backups it is very likely that your data might be lost.

Well, it's apparently owned by the people at http://resellerspanel.com/ . Try contacting them, their CEO owns freehostia according to this post: http://forum.resellerspanel.com/showthread.php?p=17034

Free hosting or not, if there was a problem with power, wouldn't both be affected?

Hi, I am new in this forum.

I have been submitting my problem with freehostia to some webhosting review blogs without having them posted that raise my suspicion. One that I take note of is jell.890m/riches/?p=7#comment-1718.

The following is the reply started for my third email to freehostia customer service.

    Hello,

Yes, the reason for this situation is that we have set a permanent IP
ranges block over the IP ranges of Indonesia because of the amount of
abusive activity performed from registered users from Indonesia on our
servers. You may access your account via a proxy connection and your
site will be operational only for Internet users outside the IP ban ranges.

    Best Regards,
