NOC/Datacentre engineer required for our busy datacentre near Canary Wharf, London, UK.

Basic tasks include responding to monitoring alerts, carrying out remote hands tasks (such tape changes, changing cables, rebooting servers, taking deliveries, changing hard drives etc), dealing with customers and suppliers both in person and by telephone and email, logging and responding to tickets using the in-house ticketing system etc etc.

Ideally you'd have exposure to Windows 2003 Server, Linux and Cisco. Datacentre experience is a great benefit.

This is a 24/7 operation, and as such the role is shift work. Pay is UP TO 26,000 per year (up to 22k basic plus 4k shift allowance). There's 25 days holiday, a 5%p/a bonus scheme and other benefits.
