Question about Shipping

Hey guys I have a question for you, hopefully someone around here has some experience with this type of thing:

Basically I want to be able to pickup packages from customers- For ex. I get a email from a customer that he wants to send me something. Whats the best way to fill in the gap between the customer wanting to send me something and me getting that.

Keeping in the mind I want it to be really easy for the customer and I prefer for them to not pay shipping. Is the best way for me to send them a prepaid envelope (the problem with that is shipping is doubled, i have to pay to ship it to him, and for the shipping back to me)? Can I prepay UPS/fedex/etc. to pickup their package for me? I know there is more than 1 way of doing this, what do you guys recommend?

yes, and you can walk into most carriers and start an account, then when they call you or email, you just call up the carrier or use the software they give you and a box or envelope is delivered to you customer

You can always have the item delivered via UPS or Fedex, and have the customer use your FEDEX/UPS Account Number. Then it's just billed to you by the carrier.

I think this is the best option. We do this, and you just give the customer your shipper number and mark the package bill to receiver.
