Concurrent Connections


hello,

i need suggestions let me know how much concurrent connectiong this server support

Proc => AMD Opteron 2216 2x2x2.4 Ghz
RAM => 8 GB
Hard Drive Configuration => 2 x 500GB
Included Bandwidth => 5000 GB/Monthly
OS => Linux

Depends on your software. When using Apache your RAM might become an issue. With something like Lighttpd you should be able to handle a lot...thousands probably. More than enough connections to burn through your bandwidth allotment in a couple of days (Or hours if on Gbit)

You will probably not need this high specs to serve static files. Its just a matter of using the proper software.
