It will be CGI
Features:
-Automatically create cgi-bin with full cgi capability when the user signs up (Your server must support cgi)
-FTP Access (Anonymous FTP or Dedicated Linux server required. Maybe Windows as well) (MUST BE LINUX) I don't know how to create one for NT.
-Subdomain (username.yourdomain.com) or directory (yourdomain.com/username) <Wild card must be enabled for subdomain>
-Browser upload (cgi will also work <ONLY IN CGI-BIN>)
-Stats(Number of hits your site get)
-PHP (Your server must support PHP files)
-ability to ban people from your sub domain site
-your users will be listed in Top 50
-Able to put or get rid of ADs for your users
-password can be emailed to user if they lose it automatically
-User account can be modified anytime

Anything else?
It will take me a while to do this
because I'm busy with school works

This is not HOMEFREE nor community weaver

This is my latest project
I will make this opensource
Any suggestions or ideas?

I second that.

How about:
>>ability to edit that htaccess stuff on UNIX via the web.
The .htaccess file stores thing like customer error messages, login info etc.
>>Ability to edit ASP via the web.

..and if I get any ideas, I tell you.
