Globalwebhos, what is the URL to your site?

Is the beta testing opened to everyone?

We've used phpManager customizing it to fit our needs and then also using QuickBooks.
    Thanks,

There is no official site yet this is because we do not want to release information about our product before it is ready. If you want to message me on AIM : stack31337 i can give you a temporary login to the demo site.

Hello we are using an auto-producted soft that is not so performing. We are also testing PhpManager we've found it excellent for price/features comparation.
Since is not a matter of cost we've download also the WebHostingEasy impressive for features $1699 but too much complicate. Our secretaries are getting nuts to learn about it.
We just need all orders of a single reseller to be grouped in a single bill then invoiced all together in a single paper at the end of the month, that feature sounds hard to find.

    thank you

    webhostingeasy software

I'm currently using webhostingeasy by webhostingeasy.com and can say it's saved my life.

I was using Optigold ISP what a joke for support and also the software was made for ISP'S not hosting companies so it didn't really have the features we need.

I thought the same thing about Web Hosting easy when I first set it up. "Complicated" I was wrong!

The software seems a little complicated because it does a ton of things. All the things you'd be crying about if they wern't there.

Yes there is a learning curve like any software. Try jumping into Microsoft Access if you've never dealt with it before I'll bet you shut it down after 5 minutes. Anyway, once I got throught the learning curve, I was set. Not to mention the developer of web hosting easy will help you get up abd running. He actually answeres his phones and returns calls.

I sound like an advertisement for this guy but honestly, I have tried all the software and this hands down has saved me tons of greef and hours when it comes to billing an keeping organized.

I would recomend spending 1 good day without any distrations with this software and you'll have the hang of it.

    I'm gonna shut up now.
    Thanks, Matt

Does PHPMANAGER group multiple orders by same customer in one account? This is most needed by me, i do not want the customer to use separate login to access each purchases.

I’ve found that most billing systems are expensive and either too complicated or not complicated enough for web hosting needs, so we wrote our own billing system that works pretty well -- ASP front-end talks to a MS SQL back end.

Only administration task is that the spNightBill stored procedure is run at least once a day, which is accomplished by the SQL Server Agent right after the database is backed up at night. We even wrote a PayPal IPN receiver into the billing system so that our customers can pay instantly with PayPal and refresh their account page to see the change take affect.

Our recurring mechanism resembles QuickBook's "Bill Next and Bill Every nnn months". It currently bills about 900 domains for ~475 customers and works great. If developing your own system is viable for you, I might be of assistance.

    Not yet unfortunately
I think they are planning on adding support for this in the next version.

Look.. if price doesnt matter, i want to direct your attention to ModernBill. I've spent the past WEEK looking for HIGH level merchant, shopping cart blah blah and possibly even a web manager. I've had expierience with phpmanager.. and let me just say you get what you pay for.. but phpmanager is great if you can deal with it's issues and harness it's potential

ModernBill is the ticket for me.. Sorry, I just had to show some lovin' for the people at the MB!

Oh, and let me also say that they'll set you up with Authorize.net with no setup fees and get your rollin with them as well. So it's all in one. Anyhoot... but with any merchant account: each biz tailors to different needs. MB may not be for you, but make a list of what you are looking for, gather options and make your OWN chart. Good luck!

The best investment I've ever made for my company is the purchase of a backend billing solution named Optigold ISP. It's flexible, upgraded every two weeks (freely), but expensive.

I have a copy of modern bill and i whated to use it with worldpay but i find that i does not support futurepay at worldpay.
if you have monthly billing the customer has to goto the worldpay site every month.

i would send more time chasing customers for payments every month.

i am getting some one to wright the mods for this problem.

    Cheers Pete

I agree Optigold is awesome. Considering the upgrades come every two weeks and free for life it isn't all that expensive. Also compared to other billing platforms I didn't really think it was too bad. The intitial startup is the most expensive portion. Also support is absolutely fantastic!
