Question Your opinion matters... New PC Case

I'm in need of a really good PC case and I'm torn between a couple of brands. However, I do want to hear about what others like and not just these two of which I've used in the past. The two manufacturers I'm looking into are Enlight and Lian-Li.

I am currently using an Enlight case and even though I like it, it does not wish to accept new hardware. As strange as that may sound, when I replaced my current ASUS A7V133 board and AMD 1800+ processor with a ASUS A7V333 board and AMD 2100+ processor it won't turn on. It has a new Enermax 431 watt power supply in it and that is not the problem. When I took the newer parts and put them in a different case, they worked fine. Because of this, I'm weary on going back to Enlight. This is for my own personal machine and there are other case manufacturers I could easily go with. I'm more interested in hearing what others would choose so I can base my decision on a much wider scale.

I'm not into the fancy stuff like alien looking cases, glass sides, glowing lights and stuff like that. To me, that only adds to the cost but does nothing to make the case better (outside of visually). So I welcome all suggestions and hope that I can get some good ideas as I've done so many other times here.

Thank you in advance for responding,
    - Mark

How much are you willing to spend and what features?

I like the Antec PLUS series, as well as stuff by Chenbro (costly, but good).

All in all, Antec is a good buy.

Probably no more than a couple hundred MAX. All I'm concerned about is obviously that it supports AMD. I have the power supply so I could even do without that even though most come with one nowadays. Another nice feature is cases that have USB ports (USB 2.0) in the front of the case. Their usually at the bottom but nonetheless, it would be nice but isn't essential.

At this moment, I really like the Lite-on FS020 and the Chenbro Genie

They are both quality built cases, tough, and will provide the room to upgrade for a long time. They also provide very nice cooling. They're both around $125.

I myself like the cases alienware uses. They throw a nice paint job on though.
Heres one with a power supply. Pretty cheap.

I know your not really into fancy, neither am I... But hey If its not going to cost me much more, ill go for it. I just picked up a Aluminum case, with side window, and exaust fan for $70. I found it on pricewatch.com under cases - aluminum. Good stuff.

As much as Lian-Li looks impressive, I think I am leaning towards this case from Antec: http://www.antec-inc.com/en_plus1060.html

The one I'm possibly looking at getting is the Plus1080AMG which is the larger image on this page. I've heard of Antec before but hadn't thought of them until reminded by this thread.

I thought the Antec cases looked familiar. I don't mind having a case like what Alienware uses, obviously they are popular with their customers.

    It's on its way...

Now I'm excited because I will finally be able to use my AMD 2100+ processor. Then I'll take the 1800+ I currently have and setup another workstation for the network. Thanks for all the suggestions. I looked through every one of them and went with the one I felt most attached, and comfortable, with.
