We need an application that can be used as a control panel from the user's desktop. This application will be client-based, so there will require a login. Once the user inputs the necessary login information they gain access to a portal, which acts as a center for the following different systems.
This project will require:
PORTAL:
Access to Client Profile
- View Profile
- Can add Authorized Contacts
- Can add Authorized Users (who can also login)
- View Billing Info
- Change Password
Access to Client Billing
- View Invoices
- Option to pay THROUGH PORTAL enabled
- View Services
- Active and Inactive
(We already have a billing system set up [CLIENT EXEC] and the portal will need to retrieve the data from this system SECURELY)
Access to Client Support (Tickets he/she may have opened)
- Submit a Ticket
- Option to close tickets
- View Tickets
(We already have a support system set up [CLIENT EXEC] and the portal will need to retrieve the data from this system SECURELY)
Access to HyperVM Control Panel (VM Control Panel)
- Start VPS
- Stop VPS
- Restart VPS
- Edit ROOT Password
(We already have a Control Panel set up [HYPERVM] and the portal will need to retrieve the data from this system SECURELY)
Portal will also require a small little box that pops up at the bottom right hand corner of the user's desktop. This box will include updates, server status, etc.
SOFTWARE REQUIRED FOR PORTAL:
We will be needing a software that acts as a desktop login and connects to the portal. An example is
