How do I set up my mail client?
First: I don't know what a mail client is. Must be software that I install.
I know I have to install it with this address: www.mydomain.com/mailclient. (edit: I see this came out as a real url. This is just an example and NOT my website).
I would appreciate if someone could point out the things to me that belong to these words, and how I could get these things working.
Thanks!

If you're using Windows operating system, then you already have a mail client installed, called Outlook Express, located in Start-> Programs menu.
You can configure your POP3 account as described at http://www.inspediumhosting.com/emailsetup/
I hope it would be helpful.Muhammad Waseem

I actually am a mac user.
I am probably riding on a misunderstanding...
QUESTION 1: let's say my website is called mywebsite.com
And I choose to have the mail address HostGhost@mywebsite.com
Where do I put in the name of this mail address, so I can access it via POP or IMAP account?
Thanks!

You need to have that mail created on your host.
Then you should be able to acccess your account from a url-based client, like horde, squirrelmail or the one that your host provides.
And also, you can acces by loggin in to your account from a mail client from your computer, either using POP3 or IMAP, could be outlook in windows as mwaseem said , thunderbird or evolution in linux, for mac check this: http://email.about.com/od/macemailclients/tp/free.htm
