Dedicated Server and Google Rank

Not exactly a terribly technical issue but I thought this would be the best place to ask since Google's FAQ turned out to be useless.

After a few weeks on a Leaseweb dedicated server, I've gotten complaints that all of the sites hosted have disappeared from the first page of a relevant Google search result. So I suggest a temporary switch to the old Dreamhost account and now the sites are back to their old spots at the top.

What's going on? Is Google blacklisting Leaseweb IPs?

But I peersonaly not sure. Have you had any downtimes while changing web host.
Are your web sites still in SERP?
I guess you night have lost few position and nothing more and there is nothing to worry about.

It's not just a few pages down, it's pretty much gone. The move was more than two months ago (with no downtime since) and it was noticed last week. After we switched, it was only a matter of a day or two before the older, better ranking came back.

Anyone else had this happen to them recently?

Google has plenty of servers over the world. I beleive they do not worry about someones ranking. They are looking for better SERP. Maybe the had changed algorithm and you site went down.
There might be plenty of reasons, not only downntime on the server your sites hosted on. IMO
