    Plesk is resource intensive

We had a server with aplus.net, normally our server uses 93% of memory.

when we had a discussion with the server company they told its the character of Plesk and normally it will use like that only.

Is this true ? If not where will be the problem ? Our servers are empty without any site loaded till now

Both Plesk and cPanel are very resource intensive when compared to simpler platforms like DA, Webmin/Virtualmin and other smaller panels. However 93% of memory is very excessive (I'm assuming you have at least 1GB of RAM and you're taking the cached amount into equation) Plesk can eat resources since it's an extra instance of apache running and has its own database structure.

Yeah, that's not right at all. With no sites loaded on the servers and no crazy scripts running you should be at about 20-40% at max memory usage.

Try tweaking your mysql server such as setting the key buffer and sort buffer

    Cheers,
