WHMCS is a great billing system, which includes a support system aswell. The best stand-alone support system, in my view, is Kayako.

WHMCS is all in one like I said, it's billing , support, affiliates, order forms and client area. I don't know if I missed anything.

Or you can use some all in program. So you dont need to run 2 programs, and for your customers one general account. And you are saving money.

I would say WHMCS for billing management, it also comes with a support system. But if you are looking for more features for your support system, then you should go for the Kayako series.

Is WHMCS logo and interface customizable? or does that violate their copyright?

I would also like to know this, I use the WHMCS for support tickets and clients etc, and I see no need to get a kayako license as it does everything I need, or I think it does... I even tried the 7 day kayako demo, and I didn't like the interface for the admin side personally.

I hate to dis the billing system I use, but don't even try clientexec. Skinning takes hours and hours of messing with hard-coding.

We use Ubersmith for everything and I'd easily recommend that. Great piece of software, although more expensive than the ones mentioned here.

As Cody Salter recommended, providesupport.com does it right for online chat solution. Nice interface with some useful features. You don't have to pay extra for the windows application unlike some of the other chat software and you also have a web only interface as well so you can still get logged in even if you don't have the software on that computer.
