free control panel..
hi,
i'm looking at providing free web space for friends (and possibly paid for others) on my vps. right now i only host personal sites and am using the ravencore panel, which is great for personal use, but probably not the best for clients.
i am looking for a free control panel which..:
- allows editing of dns (adding a records, etc.)
- lightweight and friendly user interface
- some sort of billing management / paypal integration would be nice, but not essential
any thoughts?

webmin is really not much in the way of a control as much as it is a gui for simple administration.
if you are looking for true control panel options with a full solution then you have to look at products like plesk and directadmin. "free" when it comes to a production quality level product does not normally work. sometimes it's worth it to spend the extra dough to get something that you feel comfortable with. especially when considering re-selling services to a customer. i've been in the hosting industry for about 7 years and I would never consider in any way giving a client a server be it dedicated or even shared access to a machine running webmin.fscking sweet.
