Yes WIZARD, I think you are 100% right.
i am missing options to set reseller under reseller.
at least in my 2 last hosters using Plesk and Cpanel
I have seen many people asking for this feature and indeed these days I myself is trying to find out, how I can successfully resell the reseller plans (made by me). No imposed by the server owner
And other fellows please note this is hosting forum, not a joking forum
HitBiz.Net (HITBIZ INTERNATIONAL LLC, a registered US based business)
Domain Names and reliable (raid protected and with daily offsite backups and many more options) shared web hosting, reseller accounts and dedicated servers.
Safety & uptime of our customers' data is our main concern.
This is this is the 2nd year with my current reseller and their service, as far as it goes, is great.
I thought the monthly fees were reasonable until I started viewing WMT board; now I realize they're too high
response to tech support has been great
uptime -- superb
bandwidth -- no issues
With that said. Some features that would be great are:
ability to better manage my resold accounts (currently space is allocated by server admin according to set plans as each account is setup) vs. blocks of allocated space for reseller to allocate to resold accounts;
would be nice to have a block of space available to divide according to each account's need (on average they're using less than 25mg each and I'd like to tailor my own plan);
a starter package would have been nice, i.e. tools and tips to expand your reseller business;
somewhere a reseller should be able to locate specifics of what is available to resellers. Although the onus was on me to get better clarification of what's being offered to reseller I made an assumption that because we're on unix servers that JSP was supported (and advertised as such) but it was not until I inquired about servers supporting ASP that I found out that neither JSP nor ASP is supported. Basically, as questions are posed to me and I make a request the information begins to flow. There should be a reseller's manual, toolkit, etc. or something that the reseller can reference for lists of what can/cannot be provided. As it stands, there's only an online support manual for addressing basic how to's re email setup, cpanel features, etc.
The list can go on but that's the beginning of my wishlist.
