We are looking for a talented individual to produce some highly tweaked and customized OpenVZ kernels for our servers due to some performance issues we are having with new equipment.

On stock kernels we are seeing great performance, however when switching to OpenVZ kernels, this performance almost halves, and will impair our high standards.

As such, anyone who has had experience with kernel builds from source, or kernel builds for OpenVZ in specific would be very helpful to us.

OpenVZ kernels tend to do this, but you can yum -y install ovzkernel-smp if you're working with multiple processors, and it should kick things up a notch.

I am aware of this, I am just fairly tied up with other projects at the moment to be troubleshooting the server in question.

Thus why I am looking to hire someone to look into this for me while I focus on our already in production machines.
