4 Alpha 3000VA Rackmount UPS's - $10 OBO Each!
I am selling 4 used Alpha 3000VA rackmount UPS's - they were purchased by me at a telecom auction earlier this year. I was in negotiations to sell them to an interested party, but that unfortunately did not work out. As I am moving in two weeks, I ABSOLUTELY MUST SELL NOW. Believe me, $25 per unit is well below cost and is an absolute steal for these units.
If you are interested, you must pick them up yourself - I live in Herndon, Virginia. I would prefer to have one buyer pick up all four, but we'll see how things work out. Pictures are available on demand. Email/PM me if interested or for more information.
EDITED - now $10 per unit or best offer including trades! Please help out a fellow WHT member! I must sell by next week.Last edited by MadSkilage; 08-07-2002 at 04:27 PM.

I think you'll need a forklift to lift one of those up. My puny APC 400s are heavy as they are. I can't imagine 3000 ones, much less four of them.

Yes, they are extremely heavy. That is why I would prefer not to ship them.

Yeah. The company that makes them, is near where I live.
They make the power protection equipment on the Telephone poles.

Actually, ever since I heard of Alpha, I've noticed that much of the electrical equipment in my area is made by them.
To further clarify, the model is CFR 3000RM

Man this is killing me! I would die to have these, but you won't ship. I'm guessing that if you had AirBorne Express or UPS do a pickup it would be about 80 bucks each to ship.

Many people have asked if I would be interested in shipping. Here are the reasons why I am a little hesitant to ship. First off, these units weigh around 120 lbs each and I nearly killed my back the first time I moved them. Second, shipping and packing costs will range between $60-$100 per unit. Finally, it is going to take me at least a whole day to package these things and drop them off for shipping. That is a big time waster.
If you think that you can sweeten the deal, then I may consider shipping, but otherwise, I am seeking a buyer who can physically pick them up.i beat the internet. the end guy is hard
