    What livechat software to use?

So far I can't find any livechat softwares that are cheap enough, or not good enough if free.

Only thing I can come up with for free is Crafty Syntax Live Help, What do you guys think about that?

For paid ones there really over priced if you ask me $15-$30 for a livechat Program? That just seems outrageous.

One I can recommend is called TrioLive. They offer a free license for single user. It's actually quite good if all you need is 1 user.

Where is this? All I see is the 30 day trial for one user, and it is 9.95 a month per user.

Hmm.. I am wondering if perhaps there was a free offer when I had signed up. Because I definitely not using a trial version. Maybe you can write their support and ask.

Better to use custom one. But Kayko is one of the most popular and I think that you can have a look on it.

I was going to answer this thread until I saw that the OP was my CTO . Anyway, I have used Kayako in the past and I feel that it would be very good for us to use, even though it is $29.00/monthly. I find it very useful.

We use Kayako suite, owned. Worth the cost in the long run, to own it and have it integrated with your help desk solution. Saves a lot of effort, I feel.

    I use Provide Support.

$99.00 for 12 months and as I'm in the UK that equated back to £50.00 near enough. It does exactly what I want it to do and so far never had a problem with it.

$15 - $30 is by no means outrageous. How long do you figure it would take you to write one (that works on all browsers and whether Javascript is enabled or not?)

I just installed TrioLive myself and personally I like the desktop application.

    We'll see how it fares.
