A URL would come in handy here You can't really specify an ad cost by just pagerank alone. More factors come into play, such as site design, popularity, location, etc

Yep, too many variables at play. It's tough though to post in public as your PR7 site can quickly show grey or PR0. The value all depends on your audience, topic, your backlinks, and location. I can tell you that if you put unrelated links in your footer etc. you will become a target for all those who report such things.
