Hi all, first post here...glad I found this page.

Anyway, I have a small problem. On a new webserver I'm setting up with Win2000 Advanced Server, I cannot get any of the IIS services to start. WWW Publishing, FTP, and SNMP all fail with an error - authentication service is unknown. I tracked that down to being caused by Client for Microsoft Networks not being installed. So I tried to install Client and it keeps failing with an abstract error, something like 0x15829387.

Does anyone know why Client for Microsoft Networks would not be able to install? Very odd...everything else seems to be working.
