My Car: Up late doing backups and bored.

So I don't know how many of you out there are Import fans, but this is my 1995 Civic EX that I worked on in my spare time. I had originally owned a Pontiac Grand Am (pictured below also) and when it was totaled I decided to try something new. This car started as your very basic no-frills car, and I didn't exactly want the cliché "Fast and Furious" look to it, but I did want to give it some class. you like?

I've since upgraded to the single-piece headlight conversion, but they're essentially the same style.
The little "VTEC" symbol on the top of the windshield lights up in that awful "reverse indiglo blue" color, which to me looks awful, so I promptly disconnected it. It's only purpose was to cover a couple rock chips in the windshield. )

Subs and amps. All JL Audio.

The Pontiac, before being totaled.

Pontiac after I was rear-ended. The frame was bent and the car totaled out by the insurance company.

This is the newest to the collection. 1981 Lincoln Continental Mark VI. Original paint. Parts are a bitch to find. Side shot.

A pretty view of the Continental from the front.

That's a slick plate :-)

I love that car. Too bad it has 15" and not bigger feet.

yeah, I hear ya on the 15's. I tried some 18" with lower profile tires but I barely got over a tiny curb before I sliced a tire, so I went back to my oldies but goodies.

I'm huge into the import scene. Let me know if you are looking for any turbo work at a great price. I currently am listing a gt35r turbo kit at retail: $1,700. My price: $600.

I'm driving an 05 Evo 8 MR. I went with Alpine instead of JL though.

I already have 12 speeding tickets under my belt in 2006 alone, which resulted in a thirty day suspension back in February. I think I learned my lesson, I think the temptation of hearing the sound of it alone would reinstate my lead foot. But thank you anyway!

BTW, the eight speaker system I have inside are all MB Quart. I opted to mount tweeters in both the front and back seats. I don't know if it helps much, as I'm never back there...but I absolutely love the thump of the bass around my entire car with the DynaMat. God it sounds sexy.
