Mac bashers need to remember that MAC is the hardware address on your NIC card. Mac is short for Macintosh.

I'd be willing to bet my Dell is more reliable than almost any mac, and it's on Windows ME. Don't ask me how I did it but that dang thing has 99.8% (According to windows uptime) uptime. It's odd the thing doesn't crash or slow down. And it's not like I don't do anything on it, I multitask all the time, use Apache, mySQL, frontpage (shoot me), Photoshop and play games all the time.

You want a good Mac ad? Watch these:

» http://benbrown.com/switch/ (make sure the kiddies aren't around, this one is, um, a tad disgusting)

the ads are funny by themselves. that one girl who 'couldn't find her files' has no business owning any kind of computer.

inogenius, my mac runs apache, php, mysql, ssh, ftp and all my dev tools plus photoshop, ie, itunes, mozilla, mail and whatever else i can throw at it. I have never had 1 crash since i bought it and don't worry about viruses, the only time i need to reboot is if some dumb installer requires it

I agree, dell's are good (using one now at work) but they do not have OS X which is the main reason i love my mac.

    Dude you got an apple!

I personally found the image quite stupid.

I rather PCs - but it's a matter of what suits my needs best. Others may find that a Mac suits their needs best and as such they'll choose one of them.
