Reasonable time for support?

Hi-

On thursday I made an account with hostican.com. I also registered my domain with them. Yesterday I filed a support ticket asking when I should expect my domain to be activated and some other basic questions regarding their host. I got a reply clarifying my question, but have not received an answer for any of my questions. I was hoping to set up my webpage this weekend but would like to get this squared away before I transfer all my family photos to the server.

What is a reasonable amount of time to expect to get tech support? Also how long does it typically take for domain registration?

Thanks, Mike

Well, I think a reasonable response time would be at maximum 24 hours, although a lot of hosts answer within minutes. Resolving complicated issues can take longer, sometimes days... however the question you want to have answered shouldn't take more than a few moments. Try giving them a call.

I think that within 12 hours or less has been normal for the companies I've been with. However, this does change on the weekend if your hosting provider only offers M-F support or limited support during peak times. Did you check to see if they are open over the weekend (today is Sat)?
