Just thought I would share this, showing Shawn in his true light. Sorry if this topic has been beaten to death, but this really pisses me off. In this chat I am slumpy.

So there you have it. I don't know about you, but I feel attacked. For what? Asking if there were updates on getting our data back? Last time I checked, retreiving customer data should be a) a top priority and b) a VERY VALID question for a customer to ask.

And what these children do not bother to tell you... Is how prior to this they acted like spoiled rotten 12 year olds.. Have been very insulting to staff as well as other customers. They have been going around making these posts to try and get people to stay away from CW.. And the one here isn't even a customer... just joinging in the little childish game with his little childish friends.
Pay no mind to these children as they know not what they say or do!
If one of them insulted me the way they have insulted the staff and other customers... I would have banned them too! But they CHOOSE not to tell you the whole story..just a part of it!

swish, I will not attack you like you have attacked me, you claim I am someone I am not. You said in another CW thread you have logs for cyberwings chat. See for yourself if I am a notorious naysayer or not. I would also like to point this quote out from another CW thread. It is a post I made:

Dunno who's fault it was, but Shawn IS commited to fixing things. He is not running away with the $. He is setting up a new data center with multi-homed bandwidth and is moving the servers ASAP. Yes it is a nightmare, but NO, CW is not going anywhere. BTW, Shawn *owns* his data centers, the whole building. he's not some fly-by-night rent a rack guy. I dont like the thread starter's post because it ONLY mentioned negative comments.
OF COURSE people are going to be pissed off. Everyone is. But there are tons more users supporting CW than bashing. join irc.webchat.org #cyberwings for more info or just to hang out.

Oh dear .. for those uninformed , this post is by none other than "ocsurfer" - yes the same one that runs the IRC channel #cw-supporters .
This is a person who publicly stated that he is a reverend . I guess that explains the "religious" overtones in his reply .
You see "ocsurfer" , from within the CW ranks there are people leaking information to the outside . Hey that's not easy with such strict "thought" & "speech" controls that the followers of Shawn impart on anyone who DARES to pose a logical question in regards to their accounts .
And when it comes to insults ?? .. ocsurfer-swish- , you are the champion of those . But I guess you have gone too deep to turn back now , you may have been promised "eternal hosting" in the Kingdom od Shawn ...
In this day and age for a company & it's owner to constantly lie to & show contempt for their customers is unforgiving . In the hosting industry it's make or break . Thinking that totallitarian style control over customers is what it takes to keep it all under wraps , has simply NOT worked .
How old are you "swish" ?? Do you work ?? Do you own or run your own business ?? Where do you get off on bashing people on this forum , the same people who have been bashed and cheated out of what was promised to them .
The sooner losers like yourself wake up and stop this charade of supporting the "almighty" Shawn the better it will be for the general population .
* Remember - web hosting = 24/7 customer service orientated industry . You know what that means ?? -- well , when you get up in the middle of the night , you go to turn your light on - you expect light . Because you pay for that light (electricity) . Now if everyone else in the street HAS light but you don't , simply because whoever provides it to you has decided that you shouldn't have it for a few weeks .. wouldn't you get pissed off ?? Or would you sit back , enjoy the darkness , make another payment for a service NOT delivered - and NOT explained why it isn't delivered .

You can't blame CW staff for not wanting to answer questions.. everytime they have they have been ridiculed and belittled.. no matter what they say. Most of you people seem to have such menial lives (not you Slumpy..) that you can never seem to be happy or content and feel such little self worth that you need to insult others and down them and belittle them to try and make yourself feel like somebody and feel important..
Harrassing staff on irc, telephone, going to their homes and making threats..
I wouldn't answer your questions either if that were the case!
The way alot of the customers have acted.. in a brick and mortar store..they would have been thrown out and/or arrested! Just because it is a click and mortar business doesn't mean the rules are any different.
You can judge for yourself by the posts of these so called "mature" individuals.. Kool-Aid..etc..
The staff has been more understanding then most would have been given the way they were treated.. they didn't treat any customers worngly until a few days fater the way they were treated and harrassed!

#2 - Harassing staff on IRC, telephone...? You're kidding right? It's the Cyberwings staff that does this to CUSTOMERS! Mere insults on IRC are not harassment - but phone calls at 2 AM are. PERIOD!

Nick... You are a child... and if under the age of 18 (which we know you are).. you are legally not a customer anyways! Whomever paid for the accopunt for you is the customer. And it doesn't matter if you are mad or not.. it still doesn't give you the right to bash staff and customers... Everyuone was angry about the downtime.. But atleast most chose to be mature about it.. something you will probably never understand.
So why don't you atleast act your age..young or not..??!!?
There are tons of logs to show your actions... logs taken by many people.. So, just keep living in "Nick's World" and only telling half the story...maybe some day you will believe your own lies.

I don't know what really went on with Nick here, but I do know that you come across as a rude CW stooge, swish. I find your comments, such as "But atleast most chose to be mature about it.. something you will probably never understand" to be the most "immature" parts of this thread. Perhaps the CW staff HAS been harassed these past few days - I wouldn't be surprised - but this is hardly an excuse for the harassment they have given their own customers now and in the past. I'm sure Cyberwings isn't the first company to have angry customers and not the first to respond unprofessionally, but that doesn't mean it is the right thing to do. As far as I'm concerned, independent of what anyone else does, CW and its disciples seem to be the ones at fault, because *they* were the first to act "unprofessionally." On a side note, I'm curious as to how Shawn can expect customers to act "professionally" or maturely towards him when he, as the supposed business man, doesn't set the example?

Im suprised shaun hasnt been aressted for fraud.. I hope he does. What a looser if you cant pay the bills then give everyone fair notice and let them get there data before you go down hard.. people will be alot happier then not being able to get there data at all. I wish he would post here lol.. I want to hear him defend himself...

Im sorry but I have absolutely no simpathy for the users, clients, or potential clients that still use or plan to use this guys so called service. If your going to take weeks (or months) of "downtime" and still accept anything this guy says as the truth then .... well I just can't find the words.
This guy needs to be taking out of business for good for his immoral and unethical practices! I feel for the clients that did get burned originally, but if you are still hanging on to cyberwings then you get what you deserve!
