Hi guys,

A client of mine currently have their web site hosted at ************.com, but the service is really unreliable, access is slow and customer support is poor. There is downtime every day and limits the availability of my clients web site. So I'm looking for an ASP.NET web host where I can move their web site.

Basis requirements:

* ASP.NET 2.0 support
* around 20gb bandwidth per month
* no database support required (but if supported then its a plus)
* diskspace not an issue since they only have a few pages
* minimum 5 email accounts
* minimum 2 subdomains
* stats application like Webalizer or awstats
* fast access and reliable service with negligible downtime
* not more than $10 per month (for annual payment)
* accepts payment via PayPal (verified account)

So far I like the Value.Net plan at Alentus.com ( http://www.alentus.com/hosting/compare.asp ). Please recommend any reliable web hosts based on these factors, and if you have any suggestions on Alentus.

Did you get a chance to look at the offer section?
Before you go with a host, try to read as many reviews as possible and that will help you to avoid head aches in future.

I would agree with iHubNet-Matt, look at the offer section.

As for a personal recommendation I say look at Discountasp.net as they seem to meet all the requirements you list. They've always been reliable when I've used them and everyone I ask who still uses them still raves about the service.

Please share your opinion and preference among these 5 hosts. I looked at the reviews on the forums and all 5 have a pretty good status report.

I believe your e-mail has been responded to. My mistake, I wasn't aware that discountasp had a plan that was in the $10 range.

ServerIntellect and DiscountASP are out for me as they don't accept PayPal. Down to three now. Any suggestions guys?

Alentus also don't accept PayPal.

So its down to CrystalTech and ReliableSite. What's your say guys?

Travis, try reading a few reviews and that should give you the information you need to make your choice. CrystalTech is a fantastic company from what I've heard, so going with them should be a good decision.

I resell quite a few sites with CrystalTech they are very reliable and on top of the game when it comes to asp.net.

As per my knowledge, CrystalTech also doesn't accept Paypal

Out of curiosity, why is PayPal the deal breaker?

It shouldn't be.. however read somewhere that you will find people who will 'Always' pay with Paypal and other segment who will 'Never' pay with Paypal..
