I have a server with over 1000 .wmv video files. I need these files to stream to my users whenever they are requested. My server is a linux server with the following:
Dual Opteron 246
2GB DDR RAM
100Mbit dedicated port - full duplex
Unmetered transfer
Cpanel / WHM
linix Fedora core

How are you looking to stream them? is this likea On-Demand thing, that plays in the end users windows media player? or do you want it to be like http://muvids.com, how it plays the music then.

I would like the videos to be streamed whenever they are requested by the users on demand and plays in the end users windows media player.

I would like "true streaming" of my video files to my end users on demand. The files can be streamed at 200k or can be setup to stream base on the users bandwidth

Where will you show the videos to people? Do you have a website or will they just click on links sent to their email box etc?
