Tonight I was logged out of WHT without doing that myself and without closing the browser. I had several WHT tabs open for a while and after working on something else for a bit came back to the WHT pages to find that I was logged out when I went to post a reply. I was logged in when I opened the tabs.
Maybe some kind of cookie timeout/expiration......john2k...0

I know it is annoying. However, i don't feel there is a need to call out name? eg. proslacker?!
I never seen such cookie issue before. This is something 'new' , i suppose . I bet Mat is doing his best to get this sorted out ASAP.Affordable Managed Hosting Solutions for Professional & Business since 2001

Well, besides being busy with other projects, Mat's at a disadvantage on this one because, vB has decided to randomly reset cookies to expire. There doesn't seem to be a pattern. So it's rather frustrating to troubleshoot.

WHT is barely VB any more. Custom themes, custom advertisements, completely custom everything, so most likely that's not going to happen.
What probably happened?
Someone made a change over the weekend (when it started). Now Matt's just got to find WHAT and WHO made that change and figure it all out.
Either that or it really is a system problem and he'll be wishin he had one of those pink slipsTom Whiting, WHMCS Guru extraordinaire

Sorry i misinterpreted. So you mean the VB that WHT is using has decided, not the VB in general.
Btw Cheers you are on candid camera0

Cannot even login with FF anymore!:-(
Well it's really getting beyond bearable now! If I login with Firefox, it logs me in and right back out with one click so I'm actually unable to login at all. I had to use IE7 to get in and post this. I don't know how long it will let me stay logged in with IE.

Actually, my IE 7 will not allow me to post at all, it won't stay logged in long enough.
FireFox works, but it hangs for a while at "rotator.juggler.interactive.com" whatever that is, I guess some type of advertising.
You have to use IE 7, I have to use FF; a poetic justice.Windows 10 to Linux and Mac OSX: I'm PARSECs better than you. Eat my dust!!!0

I probably shouldn't post this, because then I'll start having problems again...but I've been logged in all day even though I've closed my browser AND rebooted a couple of times since this morning.

What if someone else logged into your account while you were logged in?? -- THEN THEY LOGGED OUT.... (Would that drop you also??)
EXAMPLE:
Account A is logged in,some idiot also logs into ACCOUNT A then LOGS OUT .. Will the person already on Account A be also logged off?
