I've noticed the same thing occurring on other vBulletin forums. It's an oddity to say the least.
Edit: Read thread, cleared cookies & it's good to go. ub3r's reasoning on it would make sense.

For some reason, my cookie that was just set when I logged in is registered to expire September 3rd, yesterday.

Perhaps it's some vbulletin code, or maybe the server time is incorrect?

This might explain how some EU users weren't having trouble, since it's still september 13th over there.

Could you inspect your cookie data, and tell us what time the cookie is set to expire?

Has this issue been resolved yet? It's really getting annoying constantly hitting the refresh button and finding myself logged out.

    Oh hey, i missed that.

Well umm... Perhaps it's only relying on session data, and ignoring cookies?

These are the cookies that WHT gives me, in an obfuscated form. I think it is the __utmc cookie that expires at the end of the session, perhaps not.....

    But the problem is real.

I THOUGHT it was kind of funny that I kept getting logged out, thought maybe it was the browser, but I guess not.

I'm having the same issue myself. All my other cookies manage fine, but this one doesn't seem to like staying around.

I always have issues, but that's a topic for another discussion .
As of a half hour ago, yes, I had to re-log in again, second or third time today that's happened.
    Edit:
Just confirmed, closed firefox, restarted, and got to login again!

I finally see what it's doing to users but I'm not exactly sure why yet. When you login everything is great but something changes the bbuserid and bbpassword cookies from expiring a year from today to expiring at the end of your browser session.

I'm not sure exactly what changed yet.

I think I've actually managed to stay logged in today - despite closing browsers, leaving for a couple of hours and coming back.

    Fixed?

After I deleted my old Cookies and re-logged in seemed to work for me. Now the problem has been been solved.
