......Maybe..lol!
Ok, I need to create a website for my somewhat popular Fantasy Sports Club & Contest. From the wonderful recommendations I received from my last post, I narrowed my choices to two;
(Site Pro Version)
1) http://www1.excite.com/home/shopping...21541,,00.html
(WiComplete version)
2)
http://www.webinterlock.com/
My choice is gonna be Webinterlock....unless...someone can talk me out of it....and I do listen and check feedback well.
Why I'm choosing them...Positives: A) They have templates to help us design our web page (very, very important) B) A good "satisfaction" policy. C) Domain name ready D) No need for any additional FTP software E) Plenty of disk space.
Only Problem; they are real...maybe I should say "extremely" slow in responding to my email questions...really don't know if that should be a big worry or not...kinda thinkin' once I jump on ship, I will get better service-could be wrong though (it's always Monday where I live)....and I'm a newbie.
Should I do it? Anything better?
Oh...you guys & gals have been Great!!! Really appreciate all the well thought out and informative advice!
Thanks,
Buck............

You're not allowed to post offers in this forum. And he was inquiring which company to sign-up with, over the two he mentioned.

On a side note, if you are support prone, and as you've pointed out they are slow on feedback I wouldn't go with them for that reason, but if everything about them makes you happy, and all go with whatever you feel is best for YOU don't let anyone talk you out of what ( there goes that word again ) YOU want. Thats just my 00.02 . Good luck on finding a hosting provider.

"support prone"...knew there was a better name for my groups affliction than "idiots". lol! Yeah...the support, or lack of, has me bothered. However, I think I'm working on plan R (need a longer alphabet). The "thing" is...most of us really want to learn how to create and work a website...the problem...most of us finished behind my dog in any or all type of training. Our situation is kinda like trying to help out a friend in the woods; he needs toilet paper...ya really don't know what to do...and you really don't want to go there.

Normally you find a host is at their fastest responding to pre-sales emails if they are slow then what makes you think once they get your money they are going to be faster?
